Voting Question: What does this dream mean?

My Dream It started off with me in a restaurant full of people. For some reason I think I was male but still maintained my female persona. I had this power. I’m not sure where from but I knew I had it, I knew I was…partially bad? I didn’t feel mean or malicious I just felt the bad inside me and I felt a strong urge that I had a purpose to do something important. I was walking through the restaurant and everyone had their eyes on me. I knew shit was about to hit the fan. I remember these long rows of people and I could tell it was a long way to the leave. I started my trek. I don’t know what set it off, maybe these people just could feel the bad inside me or maybe they were just crazy; every I know is that I didn’t start anything…but I did finish it. People stood up and glared, and then things started to fly. Knives, forks, even spoons seemed to hold sharp enough appeal for people to launch them ninja-like at me. My powers then evoked I managed to grab every single item thrown at me and launch it thrice fold back at its start. Thus killing everyone in sight. One man, I’m assuming one of the more powerful of the bunch, hurled what seemed like almost one hundred things at once at me shouting “Good looking catching every these” in the most mockful tone. Well being the force that I was I caught every single one and instead of hurling each one individually back, they were every sent at once by me in a sea of silvery 4 pronged pain. He was rendered very much dead. After a long battle I finally reach my destination, but low and behold one table is left in my way. There was an old lady sitting there and as I am destroying my way down the last aisle a child runs behind me, I look this child but do not attack, mere ignorance or compassion I do not know. Well I reach this old wise looking lady and she stops me, how I don’t know but I know I stopped long enough for her to talk. She pointed out the child I had passed only a few moments before now standing to my left. She began to talk and somehow I was forced to hear. “look even you, you vile creature, could not hurt and innocent child like this one here…you will never reach your goal!” or something to that likeness….it was mainly about how I would never succeed and how I was only shell of something great and terrible. Yada yada yada. I promptly snatched up the child and stood him up on the table. He was a tiny thing, blonde hair, blue clothes from what I can remember. I never made eye contact if that’s of any importance so I can’t really recall his face. I must have had some fierceness about me, I certainly could feel it…the strong desire to show I was what I had been doing, that this is me and I mean business; and the old lady definitely saw it and her attitude changed accordingly. I grabbed the nearest fork which apparently in my hand is a weapon of mass destruction. I told her “Watch”. That’s every I said and the old lady started to blabber about how they could help me and she was so foolish and I didn’t need to do this to prove something silly. Well she was stupid and I was bad (I assume). I then proceeded to stab this young child in the neck with the fork, with added forcefullness to prove my point. He then fell to the ground and I walked out the restaurant. Once out of the establishment I was surrounded by tons of cops. Lot of help they were to the people inside huh? This is where I find out the bigger story. Apparently there is a treasure of sorts (tons of money) hidden somewhere and apparently I know where the map is. Well we are on our way there and a lot of things happened. (It every becomes slightly blurry here and is one of those things in dreams where you just ‘know’ what happened.) Well we receive to a beach like area and me and the two main detectives/cops that were handling me were standing back a bit as everyone else was scouting the area. Well on the ride there (what I just ‘knew’) we had become quick friends. I knew I had explained my story and they did not believe that I was bad and I told them how I was really the good guy and these others here were secretly the truly bad ones. Well as everyone else is out scouting I tell them exactly where the map is and we grab and make a break for it. We rush back to the cars, they want to jump in the police vehicle but I tell them no that will be way to easy to track so instead we jack a more normal looking car. (I cannot remember what nice). We took off into town. It was an older looking town…nice of resembling Ybor (an old historic town close where I live). We hop out of the car and know which direction in which we must go. But we don’t want to take another car for whatever reason and I spot some motorcycles (crotch rockets). Both of my fellows being followers of the law (several of which they had recently broken) could not bring themselves to steal the bikes and I replied that that was no problem we would only being stealing part of them. Confused much? Let me explain…this comes as part of my powers. Somehow I

Resolved Question: For All but Christians especially: What was the last fun, just for FUN, thing you did, and [see details]?

had someone comment on how much fun they had with you, and never once did you mention the word God or our dear sweet JC, or check on the other people's belief systems? I went shelling on the beach with a passel of teens a few weeks back... Laughter, sea wind, the difficult packed wet sand and the waves wetting out feet, while sandpipers scampered back and forth, and gulls called and soared over head, and the occasional pelican patrol [as I call them flying in formation, or gliding in a v formation], just made the day a joyous memorable one... The joy of the Lord is our strength Can that joy show up in places where, sometimes, just on occasion, we set the Bible on the car seat and just go play? Some of those teens have contacted me and a relationship built on trust has begun, and from that, two are beginning to explore the Bible and like it, and I never ever even presented it to them. They just saw it on the seat of my car... went and got their possess and contacted me....God is sooooo awesome, Thanks Lord amen :) What are some FUN things to do when mobility is an issue, or pain is sapping someone's strength. Could FUN be something that brings an ease or peace or grin for a moment?

Open Question: Wallpaper (rolls) with images of the sea (not fish or undersea). Not drawing, actual picture of sea water.?

I am getting desperate as I am trying to look for somewhere who sells wall paper with sea pictures on it. I have seen similar things to what I am looking for with the pictures of sky an clouds. But I need rolls of paper with sea, just sea, no undersea, or fish or anything. I am trying to decorate my 2 year old son and I want a maritime look. I thought of tongue and groove panelling but I am now thinking that putting the sea picture up to a meter high from the floor would actually be quite nice, the he can paint fish or shells or boats or something, or I can make cuttings of wood and put them on top and it would be more fun. Do you know of anywhere who actually does this nice of thing? Thanks a lot. Thanks for every those links!!!. Would any British company make them? I'd rather buy it here than shipping it from America if possible.

Resolved Question: a beach themed bedroom?

i adore the beach so i was thinking i could decorate my room kinda like one, since I'm already getting 3 walls replaced(out of 6 )(oddly shaped room,i know) so i was thinking light blue walls but one of the walls is sticking out i little because in the next room there's a fireplace,so for that wall i was thinking like a beach scene,a little sandy paint on the bottom with beautiful ocean stretching out over the horizon and there would be a silhouette of a palm tree...receive a yellow carpet for the middle of the wooden floor , hang paper lanterns, sea shells around the room , (and if i can find a cheap one, for a room,a lifeguard seat :) ) I'll hang posters and a wooden tiki head i have oh and while i was bored i made a hammock :) its made outta sheets, but i didn't have rope :) What do you think of this bedroom idea/ anything to add to it??

Open Question: Dog fouling ????????

I live on a promenade next to a lovely river where walkers and joggers and kids on their bikes are a daily occurrence. It's also a common place for people to walk their dogs. There is a part of the water front that has a stoney beach that kids adore to skim stones and pick sea shells and look for crabs ( i regularly do this with my 5 year old daughter). I have a neighbour that lives along my road who has 4 dogs and everyday they take their dogs down to the beach, turn their backs on the dogs and let them shi.t every over the place and never lift it up afterward !! I watched it happen today and it really made me mad.................... I have reported them to the council and they can't do anything unless they are caught in the act. Should i approach this person and tell him to start picking up this mess I don't want any young kids having to play next to dogs dirt ( it's difficult to look when it turns white and blends in with the stones) It really has annoyed me. What would you do ?? Do you have this annoying problem where you live ?? Your thoughts please.

Voting Question: I saw a man this morning - Poem - Whats the allusion?

I Saw a Man This Morning I saw a man this morning Who did not wish to die; I ask, and cannot answer, If otherwise wish I. Fair broke the day this morning Upon the Dardanelles: The breeze blew soft, the morn’s cheeks Were icy as icy sea-shells. But other shells are waiting Across the Aegean Sea; Shrapnel and high explosives, Shells and hells for me. Oh Hell of ships and cities, Hell of men like me, Fatal second Helen, Why must I follow thee? Achilles came to Troyland And I to Chersonese; He turned from wrath to battle, And I from three days’ peace. Was it so difficult, Achilles, So very difficult to die? Thou knowest, and I know not; So much the happier am I. I will go back this morning From Imbros o’er the sea. Stand in the trench, Achilles, Flame-capped, and yell for me. Patrick Shaw-Stewart My teacher said that every line of this poem has an allusion to the Iliad? Do you guys know what they are? Thanks

Do you have an explanation for that stuff or do you not even care about what created that every? Please give me details. I was taught in a new thought church that there is one loving creator...the creator of the earth & stars...I am one with this creator & I can affirm what I want & let it go & I will have it...so I might say I have perfect health & the fact that my toe hurts is actually in my mind....So I look it is difficult to clear out my subconscious mind of thoughts of my toe hurting...so how does an atheist deal with a toe that is being destroyed by diabetes...do you every receive the same sicknesses other receive & if so how do you deal with them? Debbie, so the wolves were created in some way similar...I just don't receive it & usually don't go so deep, cause sometimes it doesn't matter....I have been praying for a healing of my toe & finances & a work at home job & nothing I have done has worked so I want to know if atheist are able to understand & live better but I have been brainwashed to believe there is an invisible loving force that will support me...Yet right now it has done nothing.

Resolved Question: My friend sent me a short poem and wants to know what I think?

I don't really like it, but I don't know what sort of constructive criticism to give her, without sounding harsh of course. She's very sensitive and blows up easily, so its like walking on egg shells with her. She wants to know my opinion and how she can enhance the poem but I hardly look the point if she won't hear to it. Maybe you can help me help her? For one, I don't even know what the poem is about... And it seems like it's too rushed without enough commas or something. I also hear no rhythm, but she prefers not to have her poems rhyme. Anyway, here's the poem. "Ocean waves and ocean critters. My lovely home lies deep within the caves of the sea. I am an ocean spirit that will protect my territory but I hurt none that cross my path. I will protect the creatures of my territory and if you hurt them without my permission I will ban you from my beautiful waters." That's the problem, she has never heard any tough criticism for any of her poems. every our friends say they are "great!" but I hate lying to her. I just don't want to piss her off though. Lol

Voting Question: Why can I make this roaring noise in my ear?

Ever since I was little, I have been able to make an incredibly odd sound in my ear, by (what it feels like) flexing inner ear muscles. I isn't really a health issue (as far as I am aware), but for every I know I am damaging my inner ear. It isn't a popping noise, like when you clear pressure from your ear, but more like a combination of the following: -Soft White Noise (NOT harsh static) -An amplified, more compressed version of the "echoing in a sea shell" noise. - A soft, silent wind roaring sound. It is really odd, and I want to know if other people can do it, if it can enhance or depress hearing abilities, or if you have any comments! Bear in mind, I can do this at will, and it is not constant (which would most likely infer a hearing defection). Some people have stated that doing the "soft white noise" ear sound reduces inside pressure, allowing for easier hearing which can help if you have a icy or are sick. This is untrue- you are thinking of the "popping noise", or "crackling noise", which you can do be blowing your nose fiercely, or moving your jaw around. This is different, as evidently some people know. The actual pressure in and outside the ear remains unchanged.

Resolved Question: Ramadan:My hijabi sisters/brothers even?

Something I wanted to share with you.... The blossom vs. the Pearl """"""ONE day, a brilliantly beautiful and fragrant blossom with attractive colors met a pearl that lives far in the bottom of the sea and has none of these characteristics. Both got acquainted with each other. The blossom said: "Our family is big; roses and daisies are members of the family. And there are many other species that are various and countless; each has a distinctive scent, appearance etc." Suddenly, a tinge of distress appeared on the blossom. "Nothing accounts for sorrow in your talk; so why are depressed?" The pearl asked. "Human beings deal with us carelessly; they slight us. They don't grow us for our sake but to receive pleasure from our fragrance and beautiful appearance. They toss us on the road or in the trash can after we are dispossessed of the most valuable properties; brilliance and fragrance." The blossom sighed. And then the blossom said to the pearl: "talk to me about your life! How do you live? How do you feel it? You are buried in the bottom of the sea." The pearl answered: "Although I have none of your distinctive colors and sweet scents, humans think I am precious. They do the impossible to procure me. They go on long journeys, dive deep in the seas searching for me. You might be astounded to know that the further I lay, the more beautiful and brilliant I become. That's what upraises my value in their thought. I live in a thick shell isolated in the dark seas. However, I'm glad and proud to be in a safe zone far from wanton and mischievous hands and still the humans consider me highly valuable." Do you know what the blossom and the pearl symbolize? Think, Think, Think... You will find that: The blossom is the unveiled lady (who shows her charms) and the pearl is the veiled lady (who conceals her BEAUTIES). """" __________________________________________________________________________ I wish to be a pearl soon too...I'd like to be a pearl at heart at most :) Note that every flowers AND pearls don't go through the same thing... That was for you sisters, wish you like it. Wasalaam, Tinkerbell. :) :) Alhamdulillah, but i forgot to mention I don't take credit for this...someone gave it to me long ago when i was like 12.

Resolved Question: Can anyone tell me the form and language features on the poem "DULCE ET DECORUM EST" ?

Please.. I really need help?? The poem is: Bent double, like old beggars below sacks, Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge, Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs And towards our distant relax began to trudge. Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots But limped on, blood-shod. every went lame; every blind; Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots Of disappointed shells that dropped behind. GAS! Gas! Quick, boys!-- An ecstasy of fumbling, Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time; But someone still was yelling out and stumbling And floundering like a man in flame or lime.-- Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light As below a green sea, I saw him drowning. In every my dreams, before my helpless sight, He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning. If in some smothering dreams you too could pace Behind the wagon that we flung him in, And watch the white eyes writhing in his face, His hanging face, like a devil's sick of sin; If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood arrive gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs, Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,-- My pal, you would not tell with such high zest To kids ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori. PLEASE HELP

Resolved Question: Pisces male & Cancer female; All who thought it was PERFECT?

In my conclusion Pisces male and Cancer female; yes t'was a match made in heaven, but the down side of this fantasy castle they tend to build will crush and fall because it is a fantasy; they both tend to not think practical when in adore. Though the Cancer will realize this and start to drift away, thinking practical and logical while the Pisces guy is left swimming in his possess waters of haven.(When this starts to happen, this is bad.) The Cancer you thought that had a beautiful soft shell will molt a DAMN difficult exoskeleton around her, leaving the Pisces guy freaking out-literally. From then on they'll be lost in the cosmos individually or find each other QUICKLY, sort their differences out, understand, hear, and be extremely tolerant of each other then bask in the sea of adore. Key to relationship- hear to your Cancer lady Understand each other Help each other grow Be individualistic Compromise Be nice and soft like your usual-self, Cancers And just like any other couple/relationship or what-so-have-you, relationships need work; not just float around in dreamland you Pisces; nor power your way through every conflict with stubbornness, Mrs. Cancer. PS: Don't bring your E-motions into a conversation or compromising states which NEED to be thought out thoroughly with logic and practicality. And both you, Pisces and Cancer, PAY ATTENTION to the signs you're giving each other. I'm a Pisces male and my ex is a Cancer female---Experience ohh yeah and it's called WORK then PLAY not vise-versa. If you both do this, it'll be Perfect! Trust me. :) -Have a beautiful harmonious day, adore every and god bless; Pisces To Adrian the Taurus: This post is not a rant, it's an explanation to HELP people and while where on this subject, can you please look at the advertisements for Answers.yahoo.com, you're allowed, I repeat, allowed to vent. Over There there is war raging in long forgotten sands over there there is blood; it drips from mortar mine and shell over there there is death stars winking out through a cloud's viel While over here there is only neglict. we stand like rock that would rather forget. The toil that shaped us, that keeps us free now is scorned by its child across the sea. @William, thank you for that link, it was most interesting. Resolved Question: Who has a better grasp on the appreciation of Life? Atheists or The Religious? (Detail, 10 points)?

This is my answer, What is yours? Do Christians Muslims and Jews have a Better appreaciation of the complexities of common society because of their religious conviction? Do they appreciate Life more or less by being thankful to God, or is it more ispirational to explore based on fascination? I know many religious accept science and it does not conflict with your religion, but if you were strictly atheist, or fundimentalist which would be more beneficial as a subjective appreciation of your existence? Sorry if it is a complicated question. My answer: 1. Human being have an inert understanding of right and wrong based on what is beneficial to his survival and ultimately the species. Would we have arrive to the conclusion that we should not kill each other or steal each other's stuff without the bible, Yes im sure we would have. Individuals who do not understand this will still be subject to the laws based on Our humanitarian governing system. Laws are not dictated in intelligent society by religious texts, Religious texts were conceived before man's intellectual maturity, our founding dad's understood, the necessity to remove religion and personal bias from the governing bodies. 2.We have an understanding of the amazing beauty, and power of the cosmos, why tack limitation or explanation based on the supernatural. Why be satisfied with our limited imagination when the infinite imagination of reality is forever going to be fuzzy. We have just this one moment to be inspired by the seas of space, and time. We need God to feel inspired? I don't understand how just knowing the fact that stars died for me to exist is not amazingly inspirational in of itself. We want to experience the great and vast phenomenon of life, beyond "Just believe as I believe with no question..." 3. I am inspired daily by the complexities of life. The billions and billions and billions of stars, and the complexities of the human genome, we have not tapped into knowledge as it could be. We have only scratched the surface of life, and the cosmos. This knowledge is Inspirational. I dictate my possess value of life, without becoming an autonomous human shell by accepting truth as claimed by religion. God gives you Value? How? You trade every personal freedom, every knowledge, and every understanding we as humanity experience in exchange for what? Life after death? I will not be sold by man the illusion that our time can be infinite. I want to know and look everything I can before returning to a life stream from which we every came. Instead of attempting to beat the judgments of mythical supernatural entities who demand subservience. This Gives my Life, Meaning, and honestly I also believe this gives me a much MUCH stronger understanding of the Value of life than someone who submissively follows a dogma for an everlasting afterlife? Doug, you're an i____, The answer is subjective, I just want the best answer for the question and an understanding of the opposing side. Sure! I don't mind if you don't read my answer it is like i said Subjective truth.

Voting Question: What is the deeper meaning of this poem?

ok well i think its about life or maybe its the authors view on death . . . this one is really given me struggle i usually can figure them out. no this is not homework. i just am really in adore with poetry. the author is john whittier who is an abolitionist so it might have something to do with that... The sunlight glitters keen and bright, Where, miles away, Lies stretching to my dazzled sight, A luminous belt, a misty light, Beyond the dark pine bluffs and wastes of sandy gray. The tremulous shadow of the Sea! Against its ground Of silvery light, rock, hill, and tree, Still as a picture, clear and free, With varying outline mark the coast for miles around. On -- on -- we tread with loose-flung rein Our seaward way, Through dark-green fields and blossoming grain, Where the wild brier-rose skirts the lane, And bends over our heads the flowering locust spray. Ha ! like a nice hand on my brow Comes this fresh breeze, Cooling its dull and feverish glow, While through my being seems to flow, The breath of a new life,, - the healing of the seas! Now relax we, where this grassy mound His feet bath set In the great waters, which have bound His granite ankles greenly round With long and tangled moss, and weeds with chilly spray wet. Good by to pain and care! I take Mine ease to-day : Here where these sunny waters break, And ripples this keen breeze, I shake every burdens from the heart, every weary thoughts away. I draw a freer breath -- I seem Like every I look -- Waves in the sun -- the white-winged gleam Of sea-birds in the slanting beam -- And far-off sails which flit before the south-wind free. So when Time's veil shall fall asunder, The soul may know No fearful change, nor sudden wonder, Nor sink the weight of mystery below, But with the upward rise, and with the vastness grow. And every we shrink from now may seem No new revealing; Familiar as our childhood's stream, Or pleasant memory of a dream The loved and cherished Past upon the new life stealing. Serene and mild the untried light May have its dawning; And, as in summer's northern night The evening and the dawn unite, The sunset hues of Time blend with the soul's new morning. I sit alone ; in foam and spray Wave after wave Breaks on the rocks which, stern and gray, Shoulder the broken tide away, Or murmers hoarse and strong through mossy cleft and cave. What heed I of the dusty land And noisy town? I look the mighty deep expand From its white line of glimmering sand To where the blue of heaven on bluer waves shuts down! In listless quietude of mind, I yield to every The change of cloud and wave and wind And passive on the flood reclined, I wander with the waves, and with them rise and fall. But look, thou dreamer! -- wave and shore In shadow lie; The night-wind warns me back once more To where, my native hilltops o'er, Bends like an arch of flame glowing sunset sky. So then, beach, bluff, and wave, farewell ! I bear with me No token rock nor glittering shell, But long and oft shall Memory tell Of this brief thoughtful hour of musing by the Sea.

Question is addressed to people and not religious monsters that eat people. E-mail me at eeworldofdecay@aol.com Do we go to heaven after we die? No, we don't go to heaven after we die. The bacteria living in us while we are alive and that eat our body after we are dead lay eggs on the floor and use the wind to carry them to the clouds to live as viruses like they have done to us. These bacteria are from the sea since this place is piece of land that rose over the sea level. We are possessed by tiny creatures that live in the soil and that are invisible to the eyes and worms that live in our intestines that use us as their shells like discarded shells abandoned by conch and that hermit crabs use. The creatures here on the planet can only mimic what they sea and they told us that vermins have used us to wage war for them against each other. They live in our intestines and contaminate us. The animals, flesh and blood types, that are here are here to help this planet be free of vermins. Our dead people, the air that leave them, are recycled by many insects and they are being held hostage, just like they hold us hostage. These animals are not our dead. If our dead could communicate with us, they would tell us that they are hostages just like we are hostages. Since we are objects for them, they never address us. Flesh and blood, they eat, enslave, and kill, they as entities turned the planet into their possess home using us to keep it going for them. That is why they claim to be eternal. People don't have gods or goddesses. The tiny creatures of the sea that infect mankind have gods and goddesses.
